I don’t know how many of you all might read it, but I hope everyone does well this time and jiayou and strive for greater heights for our year 4 paper.
This year had been a fulfilling one for me, and I hope it was for you too. I remember distinctively waiting for the day our class postings were out. Junjie, wenzhong and I were super happy when we found out that we were in this class. At that time, I didn’t know even 90% of you guys. To me, it’s like moving house, moving away from the sentimental feelings you have with your sec2 classes and trying to adapt to a new environment with new classmates, new teachers, and a new identity.
Remember we had our first class outing? The one we had steam boat in Ruixin’s house. Up till today, reminiscing about it brings joy and a smile to my face. I’ll never forget the fun we had marketing, eating, drinking and joking together. Such memories are really priceless to me.
Remember we had our level camp and I suggested we do a domino on the bus? Was it funny? Stupid? Immature? Well this can only exist fully as memories as time will never return to the past.
Chalet for the guys had been a wacky and fun one. The secret project of making Justin look like a clown at night, the bbq where Charlene first experienced and the magic tournament that the guys organized and took part in. The super soft movie screening that was screened at dumb places like the door yet we squeezed together to watch horror films, the way Jk looked afraid from room 1408. The dunk contests that nick unexpectedly dunked and the water polo game where tianming missed like crazy. Not forgetting the mahjong sessions and ball games we had. It’s all these small small activities that we do together, play together and laugh together where memories are formed, bonds are forged.
I dun expect all of us to lay our life down so a classmate can live.
I dun expect all of us to take what we need, but less than we give.
I dun expect all of us to close in each day with glory and fame.
I dun expect all of us to stick through thick and thin
But I expect,
I definitely expect that we all can hold our heads high, and say Frutipz is my home, this is where I belong.
No matter what, this is home.
regards,
jason seah
