Hello all, the long awaited (or not ) class event is here!It will be on the 30th december, Tuesday. Its to be held at Janson’s House. Its located at 1 happy ave west. For people who have no idea where it is, refer to the map provided below. The class event is to celebrate the coming new year So everyone will have to say ONE NEW YEAR RESOLUTION to the rest of the class yay.


Anyway the event starts at 6.30. It will be a potluck dinner so everyone is supposed to bring a dish of food I hope you guys will be able to make it at like 6.15. Cause its not good if some food come later than the rest. All should gather together first. Please do not bring soft drinks and chips because we have people providing them already.


What is a potluck?
A potluck is a gathering of people where each person is expected to bring a dish of food to be shared among the group.Potluck dinners are often organized by religious or community groups, since they simplify the meal planning and distribute the costs among the participants. Smaller, more informal get-togethers with distributed food preparation may also be called potlucks. The only traditional rule is that each dish be large enough to be shared among a good portion (but not necessarily all) of the anticipated guests. In some cases each participant agrees ahead of time to bring a single course, and the result is a multi-course meal. Guests may bring in any form of food, ranging from the main course to desserts.



Food Suggestions

Whether you're hosting the potluck or are simply invited to attend one, here are suggestions for the kind of dishes that work best.

* All dishes should be prepared in advance.
* Nobody should do more in the kitchen than pop something in the oven for reheating. The dishes should be easy to transport. I don't recommend a soufflé unless it's prepared by the host.
* If there are many people attending the party, the serving size of each dish does not need to equal the number of guests. Everybody will take only a small portion of each dish when there are many from which to choose.


Hopefully we can have a wide variety of food we can taste and even better, prepared by our very own class mates. Please note i will only provide fried bee hoon and chicken curry. SO PLEASE BRING YOUR FAVOURITE FOOD ALONG!
